The Table
Don't Lie, Steal, Cheap or be Lazy

Ryskless Table:
It has four cast iron legs and four cast iron arms holding up a solid hard maple block. Some are oval, squared, circular, but mine is rectangular in shape. The corners and edges are slightly rounded due to safety. Weighs hundreds if not a thousand pounds. The original center piece came from Sony (PlayStation) in Terre Haute, IN. It was used for decades as a staple process work bench. CDs and DVDs taught me language and expression, while PlayStation taught me how to go through adventures the way I want to, while having fun finding easter eggs to defeat the hidden bad bosses. Coming from Russia, learning language was important for me as a single word can make the biggest difference.
We extended the sides by three barn heat stressed maple cuts. We added butcher blocks to each end, held by six identical glued cherry butterfly stitches. This table is universal, and I do not believe that you can break it. It can only be moved by multiple lifting devices or demolition prior to moving. The pivoting this table would take to move out the door might be an interestingly funny site to see.
I’ve sat at hundreds of different tables for a multitude of reasons.
One of the most memorable questions I’ve been asked is, “do you think you’d be happy or like it here?” I’ve always replied, “How can I truly tell, this is like my first date with the company. I’d be lying if I told you YES.”
We don’t lie, steal, cheat, or be lazy at our table.
