Ryskless Talks: (pick your topic Tuesday)

Happy Labor Day! ;)

Oh gosh, we went to Costco this weekend, bought groceries for the month of September and a T bone. Experienced a near miss (focus while driving), we would have stopped and practiced our American Red Cross procedures, but everyone was good, not great though.

Spent $400. Seriously, I love Costco. It wasn’t that bad for four people and 2 huskies. Listen, divide the 400 by the number of weeks next month. The diapers and wipes (we stick with captain Kirk) for Archer and Aleksandr pay the membership alone. We also bought some of our favorite snacks for our birth chamber coming up sometime this month (I’m just cleaning the house, so I don’t pop) and threw them in our prepared backpacks.

Did anyone do anything fun, interesting or learn anything new this weekend?

I just walked around Costco singing “gotta have it” thanks Jay Z and Kanye but I always bring a list and check it twice. Also, just because it’s on sale doesn’t mean it’s cheaper, check prices against quantity. I finally saw Pearl Jam with the fam but ask about it later. Oh, when you get home don’t eat two bags at time just because you have them and if you eat a half of bag, clip it for later or Costco won’t make sense. Does that.

Fall Pro, AkA (scooter):

I’m glad you practice your fall protection even during Labor Day. You always look great doing it, but remember 6’^=6 feet down, just stay grounded (don’t get too comfortable) and remember I believe in the possibility of 0 incidents. I guess you don’t have to be tied off doing that trick (looks like 3 ¾ feet). At work though, stay tied off or protected and remember which direction you’ll swing towards (follow your lanyard). If you’re not tied off, there is only one direction from up. Gravity, if you want to feel some speed, come to universal with me, we can see how you handle the new veloci(raptor). I swear its faster than the fancy ford and cheaper. All you must do is lean forward and let the ride take you through all the ups, downs, left left, right up down. Don’t use cheat codes while playing though, it just makes everyone else mad in the game. Again, nose on the grindstone and let’s have a successful week in all ways, but safety first. Everything else will fall in place. Don’t forget to take some, well water and ice.
